  • Cartwright to Black Tickle

A low pressure system is expected to cross the Gulf of St. Lawrence on Wednesday before stalling just east of southern Labrador on Thursday. Snow associated with this system is forecast to begin over southeastern Labrador on Tuesday night and spread northward on Wednesday. Snow will continue into Thursday night, with total accumulations likely to exceed 20 cm in some areas by Thursday evening.

Strong northeasterly winds are expected to develop on Wednesday evening and may combine with freshly fallen snow to give poor visibility in blowing snow over some locations on Wednesday night and Thursday.
