By 8:00 p.m. ADT Friday ridge located over the Gulf of Maine.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 7:45 PM ADT 25 April 2024 A low pressure system over Southeastern Labrador will continue to
track northeastward and away from the district. Strong to gale force
westerlies over northern waters will gradually diminish tonight.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Cabot Strait - northern half, Gulf - Magdalen - northern half, and
Anticosti.
