AT 8 PM CHST...THE CENTER OF TROPICAL DEPRESSION 27W WAS LOCATED
NEAR LATITUDE 9.5N...LONGITUDE 146.5E. THIS WAS ABOUT 295 MILES
SOUTH-SOUTHEAST OF GUAM AND 330 MILES SOUTH-SOUTHEAST OF ROTA.
STORM MOTION WAS WEST-NORTHWEST. STORM INTENSITY WAS 35 MPH.

.SITUATION OVERVIEW...
TROPICAL DEPRESSION 27W IS EXPECTED TO PASS SOUTHWEST OF GUAM
SOMETIME TUESDAY. WINDS WILL BE INTENSIFYING TUESDAY AND TROPICAL
STORM CONDITIONS ARE POSSIBLE WITHIN THE WATCH AREA.

IT IS TOO EARLY TO PROVIDE EXACT WIND AND SURGE FORECAST VALUES

HIGH WINDS IS LIKELY TO INCREASE. THE LATEST FORECAST IS FOR
TROPICAL STORM FORCE WINDS FROM TUESDAY MORNING TO LATE TUESDAY
AFTERNOON.

MINOR DAMAGE TO LESS SUBSTANTIAL STRUCTURES IS POSSIBLE...AS ARE
ISOLATED POWER OUTAGES AND DOWNED PALM FRONDS.

SEAS WILL BUILD TO BETWEEN 12 AND 14 FEET BY TUESDAY. SURF OF 10
TO 14 FEET IS POSSIBLE ALONG NORTH AND WEST FACING REEFS.

...STORM SURGE AND STORM TIDE...
STORM SURGE OF UP TO 1 FOOT IS POSSIBLE...MAINLY ON EAST AND SOUTH
FACING SHORES. MOST VULNERABLE AREAS WILL BE FROM PAGO BAY TO
MERIZO ON GUAM.

...INLAND FLOODING...
2 TO 4 INCHES OF RAINFALL ACCUMULATION IS POSSIBLE DURING THE
PASSAGE OF TROPICAL DEPRESSION 27W. THESE AMOUNTS ARE SUFFICIENT
TO CAUSE FLOODING IN POOR DRAINAGE AREAS. CLEAR THE DRAINAGE
SYSTEMS IN YOUR AREA IF THEY ARE CLOGGED.
