  ALONG NORTHWEST AND WEST FACING BEACHES. A STRONG STORM IN THE
  GULF OF ALASKA HAS GENERATED A LARGE LONG PERIOD SWELL. THIS
  SWELL WILL MOVE INTO THE COASTAL WATERS NORTH OF POINT
  CONCEPTION BRINGING A SUDDEN INCREASE IN THE LARGE SURF. THE
  SURF IS EXPECTED TO DIMINISH SOME BY SATURDAY AFTERNOON INTO
  SUNDAY MORNING BUT REMAINING ABOVE 10 FEET THROUGH THE PERIOD.

* LOCATIONS...NORTHWEST AND WEST FACING BEACHES ACROSS THE
  CENTRAL COAST.

* IMPACTS...LARGE POWERFUL AND DAMAGING WAVES AND STRONG
  CURRENTS WILL CREATE A RISK OF OCEAN DROWNING. SNEAKER WAVES
  CAN SUDDENLY OVERRUN PREVIOUSLY DRY BEACHES AND JETTIES.
