...THE SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY FOR RAIN AND SNOWMELT REMAINS IN
EFFECT UNTIL 845 PM MDT TUESDAY FOR MADISON COUNTY...

Emergency management reported snowmelt causing small stream and
creek flooding across parts of Madison County. In Ennis, Moore`s
Creek is flooding and water is approaching some nearby homes. In
Virginia City, Daylight Creek is flooding.

As snow continues to melt, water may break loose from areas blocked
by snow, causing small streams and creeks to quickly rise,
especially in the valleys. In addition, rain and wet snow that
occurred since Sunday may add to the flooding concerns. Some areas
not experiencing flooding now may soon see flooding.

Some additional locations that may experience flooding include...
Sheridan, Twin Bridges, Alder, Pony, Silver Star, Harrison, Norris,
Mcallister, Laurin, Cameron, Waterloo, and Jeffers.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.
