...FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT SUNDAY AFTERNOON FOR THE PERMIAN
BASIN AND TRANS PECOS FOR STRONG WINDS...MINIMUM RH VALUES NEAR
15 PERCENT AND HIGH TO VERY HIGH FIRE DANGER...

.A potent upper level storm system will move across the Desert
Southwest bringing very windy conditions to much of the region
Sunday. Rh`s will fall to critical levels by afternoon over the
Permian Basin and Trans Pecos. These factors combined with high to
very high fire danger and dry fuels will lead to critical fire
weather conditions during the afternoon. Due to the above
conditions, there is a potential for significant/large fires. Cooler
conditions and diminishing winds will lessen fire danger by
Sunday evening.
