DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY
THROUGH 0400Z November 18, 2017

SMOKE:
Southeastern US...
Similar to the past few days, quite a few smoke plumes of mainly thin
density were visible with numerous seasonal fires over the Southeastern
US from Louisiana to Georgia.

Western and Northwestern US/Southwestern Canada...
No visible smoke was seen with the seasonal fire activity scattered
across the Western and Northwestern US and Southwestern Canada though
cloudiness did hinder smoke detection in satellite imagery in a number
of spots with this large region.
