DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY
THROUGH 0300Z November 20, 2017

SMOKE:
East Central Arizona/West Central New Mexico
A cluster of fires over far southern Apache County of east central Arizona
resulted in an area of thin to moderately dense smoke to even localized
thick smoke which slowly expanded during the day with the thinner smoke
reaching into west central New Mexico.

Southern Louisiana...
Scattered seasonal fires burning primarily over the southern part of
Louisiana were responsible for a number of thin density smoke plumes
which spread quickly to the south with some of the smoke extending well
out over the western Gulf of Mexico.
