Alerts for: St. Stephen and Northern Charlotte County

10:28 AM AST Sunday 21 January 2018
Special weather statement in effect for:

  • St. Stephen and Northern Charlotte County

A low pressure system will approach from the Great Lakes on Tuesday and then track across northern New Brunswick Tuesday night. Precipitation ahead of this system will begin as snow early Tuesday morning and then change to rain across southern New Brunswick by Tuesday evening. The precipitation should change to rain across central and northern regions of the province Tuesday night but an extended period of freezing rain and significant snowfall accumulation is possible before the changeover. Over southern regions significant rainfall is quite likely and combined with the melting of the existing snow on the ground will give enhanced runoff.

Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. To report severe weather, send an email to or tweet reports using #NBStorm.
