By 8:00 p.m. AST tonight departing low 1011 mb located near Cape
Breton Island.

At 3:00 a.m. AST Tuesday low 999 mb located over the Great Lakes.
By 8:00 p.m. AST Tuesday approaching low 988 mb located over Maine.

At 3:00 a.m. AST Tuesday ridge located over the Maritimes.
By 3:30 p.m. AST Tuesday departing ridge located over the eastern
Marine District.


Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:16 AM AST 11 December 2017 A low pressure system will develop near the Great Lakes tonight then
intenisify as it tracks eastward toward the Maritimes on Tuesday.
Strong to gale force southeasterlies will develop ahead of the low
Tuesday evening.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Fundy, Grand Manan, Lurcher, Browns Bank, Georges Bank, southwestern
shore, LaHave Bank, West Scotian Slope, eastern shore, Sable, East
Scotian Slope, Northumberland Strait - western half and Chaleur -
Miscou.

Marine interests are also advised that a freezing spray warning is in
effect for Anticosti.
