Rain or snow beginning near noon and ending Friday morning. Fog banks forming this evening and dissipating near noon Friday. Visibility 1 mile or less in precipitation and in fog banks.

By 3:00 a.m. NDT Friday low 992 mb located near Cape Breton Island.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:56 AM NDT 22 March 2018 A trough of low pressure over the Southern Grand Banks will remain
nearly stationary today as a developing low pressure system
approaches from southwest of Nova Scotia. Strong to gale force east
to northeasterlies will spread over all waters today through Friday
ahead of these features. Strong to gale force southwesterlies can be
expected to the south of the trough.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
