...LAKE WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM THIS MORNING
TO 7 PM PST THIS EVENING FOR LAKE TAHOE...
* Winds: Southwest 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.
* Wave Heights: 2 to 3 feet from mid-lake to eastern shores.
* Small boats, kayaks and paddle boards will be prone to
capsizing and should remain off lake waters until conditions
improve.
Instructions:
Check lake conditions before heading out and be prepared for a
sudden increase in winds and wave heights. Consider postponing
boating activities on the lake until a day with less wind.

...More Low Elevation Snow for the NorCal Mountains on Monday...
Another cold weather system from the Gulf of Alaska will work its
way into the area on Monday.
A swath of 8 to 12 inches of snow is expected over the northern
Sierra Nevada with isolated amounts over a foot possible across
the highest elevations.
The snow level will dip down into the Sierra Nevada Foothills
where a couple of inches of snow is possible down to around 2000
to 2500 feet.
Snowfall amounts of 3 to 6 inches are expected over the Shasta
County mountains and Coastal Range.
The snow will end Monday evening.
Be prepared for winter driving conditions and travel delays in the
mountains on Monday.
