* WHERE...Del Norte Interior and Northern Humboldt Interior
County. Highways impacted include Hwy 101, Hwy 199, and Hwy 299.

...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO
4 AM PST MONDAY...
* WAVES AND SURF...Breaking waves 20 to 23 feet along west and
northwest facing beaches.
* IMPACTS...Large breaking waves along the coast will lead to
increased wave run-up on beaches with waves topping and
washing over large rocks and jetties. These large waves can be
erratic and unpredictable. Use extra caution near the surf
zone as these large waves will be capable of sweeping people
into the frigid and turbulent ocean water.
Instructions:
A High Surf Advisory Means That High Surf Will Affect Beaches In
The Advisory area, producing rip currents and localized beach
erosion.

...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTHWESTERN HUMBOLDT COUNTY
UNTIL 615 PM PST...
At 534 PM PST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Fortuna, or 16 miles south of Eureka, moving southeast at 35 mph.
Heavy rain, accumulating small hail, and winds in excess of 40 mph
will be possible with this storm.
Locations impacted include...
Rio Dell, Carlotta, Scotia, Pepperwood, Ferndale, Loleta,
Rohnerville, Bull Creek, Hydesville, Shively and Fernbridge.
